Students in 1st through 5th grade participate in the Accelerated Reader program. After reading a book that has an associated AR quiz, the student takes the quiz on a computer and immediate results are given. Classroom teachers use the program to build enthusiasm for reading and to gauge reading comprehension. The Trinity Library has almost all of the books on the attached list. In addition, the books are labeled by color to designate reading levels: orange for 1st grade, green for 2nd grade, yellow for 3rd grade, red for 4th grade, and purple for 5th grade.
