Religion

Religion holds a central place at Trinity Episcopal Day School, shaping the foundation of our educational philosophy and fostering a vibrant spiritual community. Rooted in the values and traditions of the Episcopal Church, our religious education program encourages students to explore their faith, develop a personal relationship with God, and understand the principles of love, compassion, and service. Through engaging lessons, prayerful reflections, and meaningful discussions, students gain a deeper understanding of religious teachings, moral values, and ethical decision-making. Our dedicated clergy and teachers provide guidance, support, and opportunities for students to apply their faith through acts of kindness and community service. At Trinity, we embrace diversity and respect all faith traditions, nurturing an inclusive environment where students learn to appreciate different beliefs and cultures. Through our comprehensive religious education program, we aim to inspire students to live out their faith, embrace their spiritual journey, and make a positive impact on the world around them.

Art

At Trinity Episcopal Day School, our art program provides a nurturing and inspiring environment where students explore their creativity, develop artistic skills, and gain a deeper appreciation for the beauty and power of visual expression. Through hands-on experiences with various art mediums and techniques, students unleash their imagination, express their unique perspectives, and refine developmentally appropriate motor skills that extend beyond the art studio.

Social Thinking

At Trinity Episcopal Day School, we are proud to offer a trimester Social Thinking course for our 1st through 5th grade students. Social Thinking is a valuable program that focuses on teaching essential social skills. Designed with age-appropriate content and interactive activities, the course aims to help children develop a solid foundation in social cognition and interpersonal communication. Through engaging lessons and group exercises, young learners gain an understanding of concepts like perspective-taking, emotions, and social problem-solving. They learn how to recognize and interpret non-verbal cues, navigate social situations, and collaborate effectively with their peers. The Social Thinking course provides a supportive and nurturing environment where children can practice and refine their social skills, ultimately fostering their self-confidence and promoting positive social interactions.

Library

In the Trinity Episcopal Day School library, students not only have access to a vast collection of books and resources but also benefit from the nurturing guidance and support of our librarian, Ms. McClure. Ms. McClure understands the importance of fostering empathy, self-awareness, and emotional well-being in students' lives, and she uses literature as a powerful tool to address social and emotional topics. Through her thoughtful guidance and the library's rich resources, Ms. McClure plays a pivotal role in inspiring the young readers of tomorrow.
